I smiled at a man today. Shopping at the grocery store I noticed someone staring at me from the corner of my eye. I met his gaze and held it. He was trying to intimidate me, to let me know that he hated me. I held his gaze. ... and then I smiled at him and entered his personal space. I sauntered by, unbothered, close enough for him to smell my perfume, grabbing things I didn’t want or need in and around him. 😎 #nottodaysatan Honestly, sometimes the more in-your-face racism, the Hollywood racism, is a lot easier to handle than the subtle (systematic) racism everybody thinks they don't have anything to do with 💩
